I want to show you something I´ve been working on this summer. Among a few other projects I have created a Circus -leather jewellery collection for a local textile company Hañhi Design. I used Hañhi´s own vibrant, colourful and fun prints as basis for the designs. Here are some pics of the creating process. (I´ll post pictures of the finished products tomorrow.)

glovescolouringcolours_leather3colours_leatherI have actually worked with Hañhi Design before. Here and here you can see some things I managed to create from tiny left-over pieces of fabric, useless objects found from Hañhi´s shelves and boxes etc.

Note that Hañhi Design will be taking part on Forma Fair, section 6H19 (a Finnish interior decoration and giftware fair for professionals held in Helsinki).

ImagePlastic and metal scrap as well as old pieces of jewellery got a new look with gold spray. I still haven´t had quite enough of it.

A few years back I used old broken wrist watches to make interesting pieces of jewellery. Here´s one of my personal favourites.

I found some of the so far unused watchbands and was extremely inspired! They are beautiful, elegant as well as useable for making unique pieces of jewellery. Once more I´m actually grateful for my hunter gatherer nature!

I bought a gold spray can a while ago. I didn´have a specific purpose for it in mind, I just new I had to have it. I´ve already used it to some pieces of jewellery and on a painting. Let´s see what I´ll manage to create using this golden touch.
